Tired of the lagging freezing having to restart constantly. Then you contact them and they tell you its your internet speed. I have 3 different wifi connections all are high speed and have no other issues but discovery plus. Bad customer service and crappy app. Isn't worth the money and the crappy service making me feel like i don't know how to run my apps. Only reason i gave it one star was cause it wouldn't let me not have no stars.Some shows I what on discovery are being moved to discovery +. I already pay for Discovery in my cable package but to take shows away and hold them hostage is wrong,. If I want to continue to watch I have to pay even more. I just will take the discovery channels out of my lineup so I no longer will get caught in this trap. Don't pay extra or they will feel there is nothing wrong with this behavior.After weeks of wasting my time because I had to write lengthy responses for THEIR app issues, them forcing me to download iPhone updates so it "fixes the problem" (it only made things worse) then saying they'll update me because their "engineering team" is fixing it (that was also a lie), they only NOW told me they don't support my Apple TV device. Why did this take almost a month? They won't even tell me why this took so long and keep avoiding all my questions about their horrible lack of accountability, inconsistency and unreliability. Their support team didn't know what to do half the time and would send me support instructions that had nothing to do with the devices I own. They refuse to take any accountability for the issues they caused on my phone or for wasting my time the past few weeks with inaccurate information. They have no idea what's going on with their own app and are suppressing all the negative feedback they have in the Apple app store.Why would discovery thinks its okay to put a show on about a meth dealer like she was selling flowers? There is nothing funny or cool about a drug dealer who ruins lives not only of the person buying but the families who have to deal with the aftermath of a addicted love one. She was and is a loser yet Discovery channel wants to idolize and pay her for mostly likely thousands of overdoses! What a pathetic show to air!I had not watched gold rush in quite some time. I switched to Discovery to see what was on and Gold Rush was on with the Hoffman's back digging for gold. It was great! I mean that sincerely watching these guys fumble around was better than the three stooges, Laurel and hardy, seinfeld, keystone cops. And I mean it with an enduring quality please keep these guys on it is awesome.I've been using the Discovery Plus app on Roku since June and at first, it was OK, but the last month is a disaster; constant freezing and kicking me out of the app. One example - I was watching Ghost Adventures and got kicked out 5 times during that episode. I'm hoping Sling adds Animal Planet to their line-up, but even if they don't, I am very close to unsubscribing.Discovery go has great programming. The app is great because you can search through so much wonderful content. They have great documentaries, shows, movies.I got a gift trial and sent it for 30 days and Discovery plus will not honor it they pointed it back at me saying that I used the wrong plastic card, which is not true and now when I try to sign in with another card they say they will not accept the promo code. Horrible company and I do not plan to do any business with them in the future.For a Space enthusiast, Discovery Science has been a blessing. With the rate at which new discoveries are evolving, the daily diet of the programme is just about adequate. Thnnarrator Morgan Freeman was outstanding. However he has been missing and his substitute is not a patch on him. Some of the scientists like Hakim are too dramatic.The Discovery Channel has "discovered" the worst of the worst ability to annoy and incense viewers of some of their programs with incessant, long, tedious and monotonous promos of their steaming service that seem to be shown every moment of every day. Buy from one of their "stars"--no way. They ought to be ashamed of themselves as they lower themselves to the standards of greedy management and the intolerable "plus" service that isn't even that good.I'm sick of discovery plus! The show are great but there's always a lagging issue or it kicks me off and it happened so much I never get to watch anything so I sure don't want to be paying for something I can't use. Ever since day 1 I've had issues and I finally canceled my subscription. I don't mind paying for something if it's worth it.The show lineup is trash. The BLM ads are not needed All lives matter. Stay out of politics and go back to entertaining that is why people tune inThe quality of programming is atrocious. It appears they are catering to a rough and ready crowd who gleefully watch "Hicks" in the middle of nowhere or "Hicks" on wheels or Nuts lobbing balls at each other or a bunch of naked desperadoes striving to survive for no good reason. Many children are at home watching these supposedly educational channels. WHAT are they learning from these programs? Discovery Channel is in a RUT this is NEITHER educational NOR entertaining NOR entertainment. Start offering something interesting for the rest of us.I'm a DirecTV subscriber and ever since this Discovery plus came out all my fav. Shows have been pulled from regular programming and put on D+. Like Ghost Adventures, Mountain Monsters, Portals To Hell and so on. You up your price for the umbrella of channels to my satellite provider which they pass on the price to me and then you pull my favorite shows from your programming. Why not keep your streaming service and whoever wants to pay for it pays for it. But still show the programming on regular satellite and cable TV like it used to be and everybody wins.Stop trying to be political, I am tiered of all of this black lives matter, all lives matter that includes black lives. Get Oprah off of your channel all you are doing is adding fuel to a protest that should not even be going on now. I know more black people that are racist than white. I will probably not watch any more of your channels. Sorry to say that because I do enjoy most of them but I can't tolerate supporting made up issues. I know I am just one person and you really don't care about what I think but I'm tiered of staying quiet and not expressing my feelings.How is it certain people make racial slurs and are taken off the air such as Roseanne, and a great show like Dukes of Hazzard for doing nothing compared to the rapist Mike Tyson. But Tyson raped someone and he is on the Tyson vs Shark week. I think Discovery should be ashamed to have a predator like him on tv.It's unthinkable that I know each and every ad by word. This tv program should really focus on changing up the advertisement selection they have. It's really upsetting!I of the Best Shows You Have/had! The Browns/Bush People. Stupid! He hustled you guys out of a couple hundred thousand dollars right into his pocket by rigging these races in his favor. Changing rules and changing starting spots he picked out a nice slick area of pavement. Made two lines to make sure the back tires where exactly where he wanted them and then tuned his own cars to it in advance. While the other cars were tuned to a different launching line. JJ is the king of Hustle and Tricks and in this case he not only screwed the competition but you financed it. Did Discovery really think JJ wouldnt rig this in his favor? That is what he does! That is his entire gig! Social Media is on fire and 95% of all opinions are bad. You know the saying "Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me". What do they say about fool me a third time? For a channel known for its quality and honest programming your high paid TV execs didnt even have a clue they were part of a con game by a con man. I will still watch Discovery but dont count on me being there for season 3.I was very interested in watching this episode, I find ancient history fascinating BUT I was totally disappointed by Rob Riggle, yes I would definitely recommend the show but not the manner in which he conducted himself, his attempt at making jokes were horrendous, forget the fact that my husband and I found him to be obnoxious the individuals that he interviewed didn't appreciate nor liked his attempt at trying to be funny. Please let him know that viewers, I'm sure, would rather watch him being serious and not acting like a clown!I like a lot of shows on Animal Planet & Discovery, but am disgusted with the advertisements being far left! Have yet to see any other political advertisements except Biden. What happened to all competitors being given the same treatment when it comes to advertisements? I am going to stop watching your networks until I hear you stop being so bias!A beautiful site to educate yourself or your children! Lots of bright pictures and videomaterials on nature, wildlife. I strongly recommend this for a portion of good mood every dayIt is unconscionable that Discovery has chosen to move content those of us with cable or satellite have been paying for already to Discovery + exclusively. What- we're supposed to pay extra for the same content now? This shows a complete lack of respect for consumers who are smart enough to know that all the "streaming" platform costs add up when coupled with internet service and are no less expensive in the end than having cable or satellite. Is this being driven by disputes with cable/satellite providers over cost? Talk about throwing the baby out with the bath water...I guess the dems have you bought and paid for that's a shame stop being racist and saying BLM to we the people ALL LIVES MATTER.Since discovery plus came out... I have really felt cheated by the discovery channel... can't watch what we want unless you pay $... Such a shame that an educational channel is now all about the money$... I'm taking it off my line up
