    Had a flight Singapore-Doha-Berlin in Dec. 19. Was perfect! The cabin crew was very attentive throughout the long flight, offering water and orange juice often. Good selection of movies was available.
    My friend came over from Thailand to Belgium on October 4 2020. He was checked in, so were his bags and he was ready to board. Then, suddenly, a flight attendant of Qatar Airways denied him entry to the plane. She said he needed to buy a return ticket to Thailand. He explained to her that, with a cohabitation visa a return ticket is not needed. But still she demanded he would buy one. We had 15 minutes time till the gate would close, so we had no other option to buy him a € 500 return ticket that we would never use. Now, after more then 5 months and numerous complaints and explanations Qatar still refuses to refund us this ticket. Eventhough we also bought an insurance which would give us full refund and we are well within the regulations of that insurance. I guess they treat us this way cuz we are gay. This feels like racism and blackmailing.
    Perfect service, arriving on time, good fleet. But comes with a decent price:) In general highly recommended.
    Rejected and Ignored 8th of February I was supposed to board a Qatar flight QR 1378 and QR 838 and fly to Bangkok to transit and destination Manila Philippines arrival 10th February 1pm. Before Booking I contacted Qatar for confirmation regards clearance for such travel plans. Philippines announced at the end of January 2022 they are opening their boarders to visa free entry countries, South Africa is one of such countries. On arrival at O. R international airport in Johannesburg at 4:20pm, I immediately went to Qatar chickin desk, I was informed by the staff and Qatar manager, Im not allowed Boarding as I require a visa for Philippines, I tried to explain and show them proof regards IATF and Philippines immigration opening end of January for tourist visa free entry, this was refused. They paid very little attention to me and attended to, continued to board other customer/ passengers, This process continued for over 1 hour and 30 minutes, After such a time of consistently inquiring for help, Qatar Staff approached me and said "its ok I dont need a visa for Philippines", however Im still not allowed to board as my transit time in Thailand bangkok Is longer than 24 hours, I was very shocked at this incompetency, as my provided Documents/flight ticket transit flight from Bangkok to Manila Clearly showed I arrive 19:10pm local Bangkok time 9th of February 2022 and departure 8:30am February 10th 2022, which is substantially less than 24 hours, This information I tried to show the Qatar staff/manager pointing it out on my provided Documents which was ignored by Qatar Staff, After 30 minutes of persistently trying to be helped (for concern of the flight departing within about an hour at that stage), Qatar staff finally decided to looked at my Documents, and concluded I was correct about transit time in Bangkok, However they again refused boarding And I was ignored once again, After continual enquiring one of the Qatar staff made the following remark, related to the situation telling me "Well you chose to fly with Qatar" implying that I'm not Qatar's concern as a passenger and customer and I was responsible for not boarding, added upon this I was continued to be ignored. I continued to inquire, after several minutes one of Qatar staff and manager briefly looked at My Documents again And Qatar staff/manager concluded I still can't board, by this time Boarding gates for the flight had closed and this was also used as a reason that I cant board the aircraft. Throughout my ordeal Qatar staff/manager Repetitively referred to the computer system, related to reasons as to why I cant board, stating the system is up to date, and my information was incorrect, however as mentioned above this was ultimately not the case. Several times I requested to contact someone working for Qatar that is more informed about International aspects and possibilities etc. I asked where the Qatar office in the airport was, I was told on the 3rd floor and staff will be there around 9pm, At this stage the flight had departed without me, and I was continued to be ignored, I made my way to the 3rd floor with assistance of airport security staff, as Qatar staff didnt want to assist me with an alternative solution nor guidance to where the office was located. After arriving at the office I had to wait for a duration before to my shock the same staff and manager came. I asked again Qatar staff/manager to show me proof of the reasons given for not boarding, this was refused, I asked for an email letter as proof of being denied boarding, this was refused, I ask for a contact details of someone I can contact to assist me with the situation, this was refused and I was told by the acting manager to contact the customer general help line, or online inquiries. At this stage after a duration of more than 5 hours of trying to find a suitable resolution, guidance, advice from the Qatar staff and manager, I realized I will Unfortunately not be receiving any help other than being recommended to contact general customer care. I was sad, exhausted and tired. Past several days I've been contacting Qatar airways in all available, possible forms via email, online options to get a refund asap to book a flight and fix this mess. Im very sad and disappointed, I have NOT received any reply...
    Nothing to complain about we wnetall the way from Copenhagen via doha and manila Philippines no delayed to trouble. Always good service with Qatar airways
    Me, my 2 years old son, pregnant wife missed the flight because the duty person in Dhaka Airport on Qatar airways desk, could not tolrate I went back to help my wife out of Car. Whole Dhaka city was stopped for 4 hours coz our all mighty PM wanted to move. We the normal people were late. The Civil aviation authority also requested them for us to take. But that certain HERO did not let to get onboard. It was still good one hour. Lost faith in Qatar airways. I had to pay almost one Thousand euro get re booking. We will never use Qatar airways again.
    Recently I had 4 Qatar Airlines flights and the service was awful. 1 Star, instead of advertised 5 Star Airline. 1.) All 4 flights arrived later than scheduled. 2.) Only had 1 meal choice instead of listed 3 meal choices, even when sitting front rows for all 4 flights! Unacceptable 3.) Checked in luggage did not arrive in same plane, but 3 scheduled flight later in the evening instead of noon time, when I arrived 4.) In Doha, Indian ground Qatar staff told us run to your connecting flight if you want to fly,! Otherwise we have booked next flight for you (4.5 hrs later). Other airlines provide electronic carts for passenger with short connecting times. We had to run for 15 minutes, because connecting flight was very far from arrival gate. 5.) Majority of Qatar ground staff, flight attendants, online customer service are now South Asian (Indians, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan). Understandable that they are willing to do same work (with slave contract) as other nationalities for half salary, but their attitude and work ethics is poor. On the plane Thai, Vietnamese flight attendant served 2-3 aisles, while fat, disinterested Indian attendants chatted or were standing. Not to mention South Asians thick accent. Qatar Airlines = Indian Airlines in terms of service quality now. 6.) During 3 flights it was very hot in the cabin and in 1 it was freezing. Seems temperature control is not working and not maintained. 7.) Emergency aisle exit rows usually have extra leg room. However our emergency exit row aisle was narrow and top of that the seat were not fully reclinable due to being in emergency row! Very uncomfortable! Should offer partial refund or free duty free for inconvenience. 8.) On flight entertainment screen 3 out of 4 flight had problem either with sound or touch screen. Should replace faulty units. 9.) Instead of spending all money on FC Barcelona advertising Qatar Airlines should spend more money on training, recruiting and service. 10.) Doha airport is expensive and very average, boring place. 11.) Airport check-in lines are few with long lines for economy passengers! Qatar Airines seems only cater for first class passengers and the other flight classes are neglected to the max. Deterioration of service standard clearly visible and experienced. It is time to switch to Emirates, Etihad, Cathay or other European Airlines.
    Went on a 6 hours flight with layover. The 1st flight was really great. The 2nd one was a bit annoying no entertainment service, but overall experience was quite good
    Qatar Airways is a great airline, I have travel with them from Beirut to Guangzhou with a stop over in Doha.The service was excellent and well organized during boarding and on board, food was great, nice hostesses, There was WIFI on board so you can chat with friends and family, entertainment on board was excellent. Doha Airport is very huge and well decorated, with amazing duty free. Our trip from Doha to Guangzhou was in Airbus A380-800 plane which is a huge plane ( i think the biggest in the world for the moment).
    Okay airport experience, not speavial here... same as emirates and ethihad. Okay food...,...
