    I was charged for 2 months and recieved nothing. Their phone is cut off and customer service doesn't exist. I had to cancek my card to keep them from robbing me blind. This company is a scam, please think twice.
    The most shady business practises I've experienced. I got the december box and knew about the subscription auto renewals as I've had many subscription services before but could not find any option to cancel it on the webpage. I assumed it was not part of a subscription because I used a code and got a different box then those who have subscribed. (I saw comments who have the subscription complaining not getting it and being neglected) In January they took my money for January and finally found an option to cancel and did. Because the subscription says still active although I received a confirmation e-mail that I cancelled I contacted CS. They stated me the policies for a 3,6 & 12 month subscription which does not apply here at all. After a bit back and forth, they even admitted that once you sign up and cancel immediately one more box will be generated after cancellation which means you automatically sign up for 2 boxes. Didn't even response to their missing cancellation option.
    I signed up at the end of the month for a months subscription to Glossybox to see if I liked the products they sent. I was automatically charged two days later for the next month when I hadn't even received the first box. Glossybox told me; " If you choose to subscribe to the Monthly Plan between the 15th to the end of the month, you automatically agree to following month's charge." This means up to 50% of people could be in this situation and charged for something they don't want. Very underhand tactics.
    Your company charged me twice, won't refund one, said ill get 2 boxes, I PRAY THEY DIFFRENT, IT'S BS... *******@yahoo.com is my email... please DON'T send me two of the same, I was just on hold for 2 hours still no answer, what is wrong with your customer service? Hope I get the 2 different boxes
    I was a customer of Glossybox for 2 years. I realized that they paid little to no attention to my requests and continued to send items I had specifically said /I don't use. Cancelled my subscription 8 days before the renewal date and they charged me anyways. I have been fighting with them for THREE months now to return my money. I've been promised it back three times by different sales consultants/ service reps and today now they're saying they won't process my refund unless I remove my Paypal dispute. Paypal has advised against that in light of the fact that they are not following through as promised as then I will have no recourse. It has been a nightmare. There are many better subscription boxes that are easier to deal with and actually send you what you'd like to try (Ipsy, Birchbox to name a few). I will never deal with Glossybox again. Nightmare to just get MY own money returned to me and I'm coming to think they never will.
    Awful. The boxes get progressively worse, I immediaely binned the last few. WARNING, all subscriptions come with an AUTO RENEWAL, no matter how poor the boxes are or if you're too late cancelling the auto renewal, you will be charged for the full subscription. Customer services will NOT help you with any issues... AVOID at all costs!
    So you think you can "try" a box or two and see if you like it? Forget it, you are roped into a 12-month subscription no matter how you try to cancel it. And I haven't even received any boxes yet! It's impossible to cancel - EVEN BEFORE THE FIRST BOX SHIPS! I changed my credit card, screw this robbery.
    I decided to finally subscribe to some subscription boxes services. I think it is a great way to treat yourself to a gift every month. Gives you the chance to try so many different beauty products/brands. Glossybox is known for their pretty pink box. For 21.00 a month you receive 5 " luxury" beauty products. I hv subscribed to several so I wind up receiving the same products sometimes. Like most of the boxes you receive a mixture of makeup, beauty tools, nail polish, and skincare items. I don't dislike Glossybox however it does not beat Birchbox. Here is why You get points when you review Glossybox called Glossy dots for every 1000 Glossy dots accumulated you will be able to redeem it for a complimentary future Glossybox. You can't use the dots on gift boxes, or limited edition boxes. If you complete the monthly feedback surveys you will receive 20 Glossydots. That's all you can redeem. Birchbox point system is hands down the best. When you review samples your points are basically currency that can be used to purchase products from their online shop. 100 Birchbox points equals 10.00 For each monthly sample review you receive 10 points per sample. You basically get your money back the box is 10.00 a month. I know this is a Glossybox review but I try to give you the best info so you can make the best decision. Everyone may not be able to afford 21.00 if you can there is nothing wrong with Glossybox. But for those on a budget you can subscribe to Birchbox for 10.00 and not feel like your missing out. You can even do ipsy (which is not my favorite) & Birchbox both 10.00 getting 2 subscription boxes for the price of 1 Glossybox. I like Glossybox over POPSUGAR must have boxes which I feel are overpriced, and overhyped. I hv never been disappointed with Glossybox it is definitely one you should try. If you check many of the subscription boxes blogs you are able to see a spoiler sometimes the whole box before deciding if you want to subscribe. There are so many so it can be overwhelming. I know my reviews tend to be long but I try to offer as much help as I can. Subscription boxes are very personal not everyone likes the same thing but take your time, research the blogs, and give them a try. If you hv any questions please ask me I will do my best to answer them.
    I liked my first box, but the second one was a joke. Like the sample ipsy size but double the price. So i cancelled, buuut they keep on billing me. Finally after trying all ways to contact them they accused me of having a yearly not monthly subscription... good thing i had my original email. Then she back peddled real fast. They are liars and scammers. And they try to trick you into thinking you are stuck in a yearly even if you have a monthly., pay attention... we will see next month if they actual cancel. She assured me it will be.
    Just received my first box. This is very late, which is totally understandable given the circumstances. However, the products inside are dismal! One is broken, one is expired and the final three can be bought online for a total of seven pounds! Their claim that the box is worth over £50s beggars belief!
    I got my 1st box ever. They include a picture with products you're supposed to get with what they are. Problem is 2 of the items inside were valued at respected $20 EACH lower then item I was supposed to get. They said it was only about $5 off retail. I call b. S. because I've looked up and purchased both before. Wss supposed to get the Josephine Cosmetics Full sz Dew You(avg $38)and received bella pierre finishing powder(cost average $13) and supposed to get the Polaar deluxe Mini mask and received the nailpolish). Like I told them, for a first time purchase you try to please a new subscription buyer (not make excuses) They are quick to make excuses and take money out if your account fir next month's box, which came out PROMPTLY ON 1ST of the month for this month but I will not receive it until end of this month
    Ordered two weeks ago. Was billed. Received no updates. Emailed company multiple times with receipt from paypal for purchase. No response. No product. I bet they will still bill me for a subscription that they claim they can't find
    For the past 3 years we have ordered the advent calendar from Glossy Box for my mother, and she has enjoyed them. When we ordered this year, it came late on the 18 of December and this was ordered in October. When we opened the boxes, it was very disappointing; out of the whole glossy box we only received 4 items which were makeup. Most of the products were serums, and on the 25 day we received a tiny eyeshadow pallet and two brushes that felt very cheap. Did not enjoy the advent calendar and probably will not purchase again next year.
    Sigh... I wanted to love Glossybox and bought 3 advent calendars as gifts for Christmas 2021. I ordered more than 2 months in advance, but still no boxes have arrived. I followed up multiple times with the company who kept cheerily assuring me that I would receive tracking when the boxes had shipped. Never once did they indicate they would not ship until after Advent had started. Sadly, the boxes are scheduled to arrive on December 9th which is close to halfway through advent. Called the company, and no accommodation was made for the delay. This is just so odd to me. It's like a company shipping you a Halloween costume on November 5th and wondering why you no longer find it useful. I gave Glossybox 4 opportunities to fix it (2 emails to customer service and 2 phone calls) before I wrote my review. In short, Glossybox could not deliver their advent calendars in time for Advent which seems to me like they are offering a pointless product and deeply frustrating experience. You had one job, Glossybox, one job! I will never order from them again. There are plenty of other beauty subscription boxes and beauty Advent calendars out there that value their customers and keep their promises.
    Unfortunately the customer service let's them down. The boxes are good and the right price per month, but I cancelled my subscription after the 1st box due to financial reasons. They then took money out of my account on the 2nd month, so I just assumed I cancelled it too late, but then taking money out of my account on the third month - that was not acceptable! Unfortunately you can't call someone to discuss this with you have to send messages and from the replies I am recieving, no one is fully reading my messages. I tell them I have cancelled the subscription and that I only have two email addresses and neither has a subscription with them. I thought that finally I had gotten through to someone that understood, and they confirmed that my subscription was cancelled, yet did not offer a refund of the money they took as there was a box on it way. So I had to accept the box, but when it arrived the box was damaged as the can of drink that they had put in this month's subscription had burst and ruined all the products in the box. I had to again message someone regarding this, and nearly a whole month later from them taking the money out of my account, I am still no where further! They keep asking for an order number, which I don't have as I cancelled my subscription. They keep asking for other email addresses and other contact information but still can't find any information. To which I reply, it's because I cancelled the subscription! Seriously why can't you call and talk to a human being! It takes them 24 hrs to reply to your message, you the. Have to reply back which takes them another 24 hrs to read and reply to you! So to date I still don't have my subscription money back, nor do I have a box as compensation as it's ruined by the burst can.
    I am completely distraught trying to get help with Glossybox customer service and relations team. I ordered an advent calendar on 2nd Oct 2020 as a present for someone and I still have not received anything over 2 months later. We are now well into December and the product has lost its value and meaning now. I have been back and forth with their agents who have not provided any help. They have repeatedly told me it is an "active order" and there is nothing they can do. I have asked several times for a refund and today after a week of messages they are saying my order is "sorted" and they will not give me a refund. My order has never arrived and is not sorted. I am disgusted and let down immensely as is the young girl I bought this as a gift for. I am being left out of pocket before Christmas and feel they have just stolen my hard earned money.
    A recent promotion for a 3 month subscription is set to a hidden automatic renewal opt-in. You only find out once they have billed you and it is a renewal for the original subscription period, not a monthly basis. It cannot be cancelled. This is essentially dishonest marketing and the fact that there is a refusal on the part of the company to cancel the subscription or even PART of the subscription suggests that that this company isn't too concerned with its customers. It is quite frustrating to deal With customer service whose only response is to communicate prewritten emails. Would suggest avoiding this particular subscription box, there are too many other options out there to deal with this grief.
    I bought two christmas boxes that never came, when I asked where my order was I was told it was cancelled due to the fact they oversold the boxes, I was a member for many years and they told me how to cancel because they would do nothing to make it right! They owe me my december box that I have not gotten! I think I will have to have my bank go after them so I can get my money back! Such a shame they have really gone down
    My friend recommend glossy box to me as i mentioned to her that I was looking for a beauty box as a treat for myself each month. Where to start with the issues I have faced firstly I joined by registering through my friends referral link which claimed we would both receive glossy credits plus I would receive a certain amount off my first box. Followed link and steps correctly but neither of us received our credits and I didn't get money off first box. I contacted customer care for help and was just told I must not of followed the steps correctly. (Fobbed off) Secondly I started to notice that I was receiving my glossy box weeks after my friends so it was no longer a surprise of contents as i would find out through people discussing or online of its contents before I even received mine. Contacted customer care and told some boxes are sent later than others (felt fobbed off yet again) Thirdly I kept getting messages each month stating they had to replace an item in my box due to high demand and they had run out. So I missed out of two very good products I was looking forward to getting as they were box sneak peak items and instead received A mini sample dried up mascara worth half the price of the items I was meant to receive. Contacted customer care as I have got to the point where I won't think I am being treated fairly and as I am having problem after problem on their end, i requested to cancel my subscription without charge as all the problems were from their end. I was told sorry we can't cancel your subscription. (Fobbed off yet again) now I have got to the point I am constantly complaining in the hope they will get fed up and cancel it for me. Also some of the products they sent out To glossys they state a price in the leaflet when in actual fact i found a good few products in the shops cheaper for example eos lipbalm- states in leaflet it's about £4.99 it's in a certain shop for £1..
    I honestly don't know how this company is still operating, it is just one big con and I would love to know how many peoples money they have taken and not provided the goods for, had a one year subscription and it was just problem after problem, late boxes, boxes not turning up, cheap products instead of the expensive ones they say you will get, overcharging for limited edition boxes, none existent customer service the list is endless, and the final straw, ordered 2 advent calanders in September, I have only received one and that was on 7th December with no sign of the other one even though I've paid for it and they never actually answer your questions when you message them, no phone number no live chat nothing, what kind of advent calander arrives on tbe 7th dec? It's now the 13th dec and I still haven't received the other one, this company needs looking into by a consumer programme, I bet the lines would be jammed with all the unhappy customers who feel scammed, disappointed and stressed because of them to say the least, please avoid this awful company, I never write reviews but I really feel I have to with glossybox it's the shadiest company stay well away, scam scam scam!
    Shttty of them to charge me and i never received a box. I've waited long enough it should have been delivered by now.
    Cancelled after a couple months because it was all deluxe and sample sized skin care, hardly any makeup, not worth the price at all. Card got charged another 2 times after canceling, I had the cancel email, still couldn't get a refund. Terrible customer service, fraudulent charges, bad products. Check them out on BBB, or consumer affairs - lots of similar issues. No one even reviews these boxes anymore because they're so bad.
    DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! You may never receive anything and they may continue to take money from your account anyway. I placed an order on 11th JUNE for a Glossybox, hoping to receive one in July. A week or so after the order was placed I got an email saying that because I had placed after 9am on 11th June I wasn't able to get a July box and they'd send me an August one. Not great but at least I knew. They then took another 2 payments during July and Aug that I had to fight to get refunded as I still hadn't received what I had ordered in June. I kept asking when I would receive my Aug box as Aug was almost over and kept being told "It'll be with you soon, don't worry. If you haven't received a dispatch email by 15th Aug get back in touch and we will look into it for you" So when 19th Aug rolls around and I haven't heard anything I emailed again only to be told "As the August edition is now fully out of stock I am unable to replace this for you. Please can you let me know if you are happy to accept a refund or would prefer the box value added as credit." Actually shocking. Out of stock of something I ordered in JUNE? Really? Funny how it's been sent out for free to all the influencers on Instagram though. Am waiting on a refund now but don't hold out any hope of receiving it quickly if the last 2 months have been anything to go by. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!
    I have been a suscriber for over a year. My December box has still not arrived. Their customer service is no help. When you ask on instagram you get a generic response but no explanation for why so many people have not received what they paid for. They also overcharged me and keep asking for proof. Well if you look at my account you can see you charged me 23.00 instead of 21.00. I cancelled and wil be switching to birchbox.
    They "fished" me with what seemed a "generous" offer for the 3 months. The products are not worthy, honestly, you can get things at the super market, and the subscription is set up in a way it is automatically renewed! You know how it goes: the automatic renewal term is written in the FAQ or somewhere that one needs to look for, and once you get invoiced you cannot claim the money back... pure scam disguised as "so sorry for your loss, you should have known better".
